Welcome to Threadmind ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Threadmind web application, Chrome Extension, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Threadmind is an AI-powered negotiation assistant that integrates with your email environment (via our Chrome Extension) to analyze email threads, assess deal risks, and draft strategic responses. Features are accessible via the Threadmind web dashboard and extension interfaces.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

2. Privacy and Google Limited Use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy.

Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

Threadmind's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not permanently store your raw email contents. Threadmind only processes email content after explicit user action and does not access Gmail data automatically. Data is processed temporarily to generate AI outputs requested by you.

3. Subscriptions & Payment

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription.

  • Billing: We process all payments through our merchant of record, Dodopayments. By subscribing, you agree to their terms of service regarding payment processing.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel via the Threadmind dashboard before the renewal date.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis subject to our review and applicable laws, as well as Dodopayments policies.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

By using Threadmind, you agree NOT to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Chrome Extension or web application.
  • Use the Service to transmit illegal, harassing, or malicious content (including uploading malware-infected attachments).
  • Share your account credentials or API access with unauthorized third parties.
  • Attempt to manipulate or inject prompt attacks into our AI models.
  • Resell the Service or present Threadmind's AI layouts as your own proprietary software.

5. AI Outputs & Disclaimers

Threadmind uses enterprise Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate insights and drafts. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • 1. Not Professional Advice: Threadmind DOES NOT provide legally binding contracts, legal advice, or certified financial advice. You must consult licensed professionals before executing high-stakes agreements.
  • 2. AI Inaccuracies: AI models may occasionally produce incorrect, hallucinations, or biased outputs. You are strictly responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated drafts BEFORE sending them to counterparties. You agree not to rely solely on AI-generated outputs for critical decisions.
  • 3. Zero Data Retention: Our AI sub-processors operate under Zero Data Retention (ZDR) agreements. Your data is not utilized to train their generalized models.

6. Intellectual Property

Our IP: The Threadmind brand, website, Chrome Extension code, UI/UX designs, and proprietary algorithms are the exclusive property of Threadmind. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service.

Your IP: You retain all intellectual property rights to the raw email data and attachments you analyze. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use and process any email content or attachments through the Service. You grant us a limited, temporary license to process this data solely for the purpose of generating your requested AI insights.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THREADMIND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

In no event shall our aggregate liability for all claims related to the Service exceed the total amount paid by you to Threadmind for the Service during the past six (6) months.

Service Availability: We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free at all times.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms (such as attempting prompt injection attacks or failing to pay subscription fees). Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Country/State], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page or via email notifications. Your continued use of the Service following such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
